Re: Can You Figure Out These Movie Titles?
It is a bit surprising that some people have never heard of this or contribute it to the wrong origin. Way back when I was coming along all the school kids knew it and if you did not know it you were sure to get conned. The earliest written record of this story is about 1,000 CE. Here is part of the...

Re: OT - Obamacare
Given the total dominance the Church had in Europe, it hard to give them credit without also assigning blame. One wonders, for instance, how much more science might have come out of the Jewish community, had it not been for the almost continuous persecution by the Church. Were it not for the Christ...

Re: OT - Ed Asner Tells it Like it Is!
Common sense is dead in America, slain by the psychopathic ruling class and progressive propagandists teaching America’s youth to pledge fealty to the state at all cost and teaching collectivist claptrap, pseudo history, feelings-based psychobabble and political correctness above reading, writing, a...

Re: OT: Government involvement in healthcare can work!
If we all agree that people have a right to live, shouldn't we all work towards ensuring that everyone has access to free basic healthcare? Why basic healthcare? You want people who have serious, complicated and often rare, conditions that are hard to treat and are expensive due to complicated surg...

Re: Do you stop using machine during thunderstorm with lightning
Dumb question: are we in danger using our machines during a thunderstorm? I always get off the telephone and out of the tub or shower if one is going on, afraid of receiving a shock. Two questions about world history: Has anyone every been killed by lightning because they were talking on a telephon...

Re: Fighting Anxiety
6 cm is not enough pressure for me while I am awake. It feels like not enough air to breathe.I am only on 6cm pressure so it's not the pressure--perhaps more the lack of pressure and breathing through that tiny hole and tubing.
I never had any anxiety but 6 cm might cause it in me.

Re: Advice on oximeter please
Fair question - I`m monitoring my data, but not sure if it is correcting all my apneas - I mean surely the oximeter must be the acid test? No, Sleepyhead will tell you everything you need to know about your breathing. The exception would be people who have lung disease or dysfunction. My oximeter i...

Re: Advice on oximeter please
Why do you think you need an oximeter? Do you not have CPAP software to monitor your breathing? Do you have lung disease?
