I''m curious if anyone uses an oral appliance + CPAP? If so would you recommend it?
I'm thinking an oral appliance would allow the pressure settings to operate at a lower level thereby making things more comfortable and less prone to leaks.

Re: Anyone Use an Oral Appliance + CPAP?
This what I believe you are referring to but since you are using an ASV machine, I don't think this would be applicable in your case since it seems to be for people who don't have complex or central apnea.Dave007 wrote:I''m curious if anyone uses an oral appliance + CPAP? Maybe if you post about the problems you are having and use ASV in your title, folks who use that machine can help you? One question I would have is are you limited to full face masks because if you're not, nasal/nasal pillow masks are alot easier to use leak wise. But if not, folks can help you with that issue.

Re: Anyone Use an Oral Appliance + CPAP?
I doubt that the appliance will make much of a difference. What is your pressure now? Leaks don't always come fro the pressure....often it is the mask..Dave007 wrote:I''m curious if anyone uses an oral appliance + CPAP? If so would you recommend it?
