Mask smells weird

I washed my mask, but it still smells weird. Is that normal or should I get a new mask?

What do you mean by "still" smells weird? Is it new? Bought used on Craig's list? What kind of smell is it?

When you wash the hose and tank, throw in a little mouthwash.

My mask smells like whatever I cooked that day. Luckily I rarely cook. I also smell shampoo if I use that to clean the mask no matter how long I rinse so I tend to just use Ivory hand soap now and no smell...except for the rare cooking smell.

Perhaps the tubing or humidifier tub need to be cleaned.
