This may be an odd Newbie question.
Will be taking a 2 week cruise in 4 week. On long vacations do bring extra masks and hoses?
Sure I will have more questions Thank you

If you have an extra hose and an extra mask or two, yes, bring them along. You never know when something might happen to the equipment. Also bring along some extra filters and what ever you use to clean your equipment.LuvDaSleep wrote:This may be an odd Newbie question.

Bring an extension cord, you may not have a power outlet near the head of the bed.
You should check to see if any adapters are needed. Nearly all XPAP machines will run on 110 - 220 volts.

+1. Cabin power outlets are very scarce. Glad I had my extension cord with me last cruise.BobHale wrote:Bring an extension cord, you may not have a power outlet near the head of the bed.

Re: Traveling Newbie
I wouldn't bring too much for a two week trip. Maybe an extra filter and a second nasal pillow for your Swift FX. An extension cord is a must (i have a 6' long power strip I carry around so I can plug in my CPAP, iPhone and iPad). I have a copy of my prescription in my bag as well. just in case.

Re: Traveling Newbie
I have a power strip with a 15' cord for traveling, and it has been handy. I'd take it at this point, cpap or not, since we have 4 mobile device chargers (2 phone, 2 tablets). Power surge protection helps me feel better about plugging into random outlets, as well *smile*, although that may be an illusion. Some places we've stayed have been newer and better set up with outlets, but some of the older places, or B&B's aren't.
Usually just take an extra nasal pillow, not usually hoses or full masks. But that's just me. What I don't have in cpap spare parts is made up for in luggage space by the power strip *smile*.
