Has anyone else tried Ascend full face mask

Post by shhh-let-me-sleep » Tue Mar 31, 2015 8:16 am

I have been using the Ascend full face mask by sleepnet. Does anyone know of any place to buy replacement cushions? I also was wondering what other people who have used it thinks of it. Thank you.

Does whoever you got the mask from not sell replacement cushions?

They make the replacement cushion and actually pride themselves on it.
http://www.sleepnetmasks.com/sleep-apnea-masks/

But I looked and looked and couldn't find where it was available.
1800cpap seems to sell the mask but I couldn't find the replacement cushion anywhere on their site.

Is this a really new model mask? It's not a common mask in terms of what we normally see here on this forum being used by members.

Thank you for your help. It is a very comfortable mask I am surprised there are not that many people using it. Maybe because it so hard to find one.

If it is a really new mask on the market sometimes it takes a bit of time before replacement cushions are available. That seems to be the case no matter who the manufacturer is.
You might send a note to where you got the mask and ask them if they have or plan to have the replacement cushion and see what they say.

One frame fits all size cushions?
Sounds like weinnman, or the old fisher-paykel 431
Why don't more companies do this?
Oh, yeah. MONEY!

Yes One frame fits all size cushions. I found out you can even stack a small cushion inside a medium cushion and a medium inside a large cushion and it makes it even softer on the face. I think the is the best mask I have tried so far.

I discovered Sleepnet through a conversation with a friend and scrolled through their site. I'm currently using a medium Amara View mask with fairly good results but issues with mask leaks. The appearance of the gel gaskets on Sleepnet's mask looks like a promising alternative. I'm a novice CPAP user would like some help in determining the best product for my application. Second, connecting a willing supplier with my supplier may be necessary to handle the insurance billing process. I'll initiate contact with Zopec through your website.
