New to CPAP

Post by bucksnort » Thu Mar 26, 2015 9:55 am

Hi,
About to embark on the CPAP journey. Just got my ResMed AirSense AutoSet A10 from the med supply. I had an apnea of 49 that I finally promised my wife as a Xmas present to her I'd take care of finally. My 3 brothers all have machines and my brother pushed me after watching me stop breathing on his couch taking a nap.
Over the past 5 years my motivation and energy has gone down hill. Looking forward to getting a life back.

Thank goodness I have somewhat decent co-pay as the med outfit is charging over $1950 just for the machine. I see on CPAP.Com the same thing goes for $883. What a rip.

What model A 10?
What does it say on the blower?
CPAP?
Elite?
AutoSet?

Once you figure out which model when you have time could you add your equipment to your profile like I have mine.

Having this information available at a glance would help us help you better and faster so that we don't have to keep asking what equipment.

Welcome to the forum.
