even the ramp seems over powering
Even the ramp up seems overpowering, I didnt have this problem in sleep lab. makes me panic . Maybe it didnt bother me in the lab because of sleep meds.

First time? Been there. The worst thing is airflow on your skin.
It's noisy, and you may even feel like the dog with his face out the car window.
Actually, there is not even enough pressure to inflate a balloon.
It does take some getting used too.
Good fit with no big leaks helps.

What you are feeling is normal. You might consider using the machine while reading or watching television to get used to it.

Re: even the ramp seems over powering
Using the ramp can make thing's worse by limiting the pressure, what you may be feeling is being starved for air. And they don't make nerd training wheels. jim

Re: even the ramp seems over powering
The first night I used mine, I actually dreamed a dream along those lines, right down to cheeks flapping in the breeze - brain mirroring physical perception I guess. Now I barely notice it. You'll get there. Good advice to wear it awake to get used to it.chunkyfrog wrote:First time? Been there. The worst thing is airflow on your skin.
