Advice on best ResMed Nasal Pillow Mask

Post by newcpap » Thu Mar 26, 2015 12:36 am

Hello all,

I am currently using the ResMed AirFit ™ P10 Nasal Pillow, I found it to be OK, provided that I use the L size. But I notice that the air leak is abit higher than what I used to have when I was using the Full Face mask, it ranges between 10-15.

I am thinking about trying another nasal pillow mask and seeking some advice about which would be the best thing to try among the other available options:

1. ResMed Swift™ FX Nasal Pillow Mask
2. ResMed Swift™ FX Bella Gray Nasal Pillow Mask
3. ResMed Swift™ LT Nasal Pillows System
4. ResMed Mirage Swift™ II Nasal Pillow System

Thanks in advance for the help.

I would suggest the number 2 on your list...it will include the headgear that the number 1 choice has.
So it's essentially a number 1 with the Bella loops added.

https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed ... -cpap.html
comes packaged with two unique headgear options and is available in two colors.
I have used the Swift LT (was my first mask until the Swift FX was released) and I think that the Swift FX is more comfortable and just as stable.
Never used the Mirage Swift II system...that one is way old model. Been around a long time and not all that popular today...too bulky and too restrictive.

I have been using the Swift FX and found it wonderful, very little intrusive and easy to wear and keep in place.
It's also easy and inexpensive to buy extra nasal pillows or head gear when need arise.
But again as all masks its all a trial and error until you find the right one for you.

And for me the ResMed AirFit™ P10 Nasal Pillow system has worked the best, and over the past almost 10 years, I've tried many nasal-pillow systems. I guess we all have different needs.

Good luck!
