I owe Second Wind a public apology

Post by JeffH » Fri Mar 06, 2015 8:58 am

Seems my buddy that bought the machine from them wasn't honest with me. He sent them the wrong script and they filled what he sent them. He only copped to this yesterday. They are being nicer than they have to be with him...have agreed to refund the money for the Vauto. They were out of stock on the VPAP.

Sorry Second Wind. I was wrong.

Thanks for the update. I thought that it was just plain weird that your friend had such a disaster with Secondwind.
I know someone in Australia that was meaning to buy the S9 Adapt model 36037 and he instead actually ordered the S9 VPAP Auto and of course it wouldn't allow the settings that he was supposed to use. He made the mistake in the order but Secondwind actually bent over backwards to help him get the correct machine including express shipping (on their dime) to get him the correct machine and did that even before he was able to return the wrong machine.

Maybe I've learned the next time I hear a story like this I'll slow down and ask more questions first. You'd think being an old man I would have learned this already.

I always blame it on "Having a senior moment".

I actually just referred someone to second wind who was just changed from CPAP to VPAP. I told her the staff at second wind will do what they can and are much safer about sanitizing the machines. I don't always trust Craig's list or the want ads. 49er is right, tho....we are all only human.

If you are truly penitent, go delete the thread where you accuse Second Wind of supplying the wrong machine.

Jeff, you can go back and edit your very first post in that thread,
adding updated text and changing the title of that thread.
Something like, "erroneous rant--profuse apologies".
