Could someone tell me where the newest Rescan download is? Sick of trying to open sleepyhead with 7-z or whatever it is. Too tired to fight with it. If someone else has taken the windows build of tat and compressed it with something that windows can actually open that would be nice too.
Thanks.

Install this from this download link (the download will start automatically):
http://sourceforge.net/projects/peazip/ ... e/download
It's Peazip and it's free. When you install it it will associate with compressed files. Then, when you download Sleepyhead all you have to do is click on the downloaded file and it will open up the Sleepyhead zip. Extract that zip into a folder (i.e. C:\Sleepyhead) then go to that folder you just made and click on one of the executable (exe) files. The program should open right up. Read the Sleepyhead docs and you should be good to go.

Here is the link to 7-z:Cuda wrote:Could someone tell me where the newest Rescan download is? Sick of trying to open sleepyhead with 7-z or whatever it is. Too tired to fight with it. http://www.7-zip.org/
It is an compression/decompression software like Winzip except it allows for a more varied selection of compression algorithms and can create smaller files. If you can use Winzip then you shouldn't have any problems running 7-z.
FYI: The current flavor of ResScan is 5.3.
