When might SleepyHead say "Unclassified Apnea

Post by VPAP » Sun Mar 01, 2015 7:36 pm

Hello. I have a question in regards to SleepyHead software. I use an S9 ResMed VPAP Auto and I'm wondering what it would mean if apneas are being Noted as Unclassified. I've verified that there are no real large leaks. At least, ResMed is not detecting really large leaks. Maybe 5-10L/min and I use a Full Face Mask as well, and my Leak Alert is turned on. I'm getting these. Last report said, like 148.00 and I really don't know why they are unclassified. Does that mean that something is wrong with my SD Card? I mean, i can see the Waveforms and stuff, and It seems like the SD card and VPAP are working well. I truely do hope that nothing is wrong with the VPAP! Thank you. I LOVE cpaptalk.com and I really think that is a wonderful place to be.

unclassified apneas usually mean that your leak rate is too high for the machine to be able to tell what kind of apnea it is.
