Sleepyhead question

Post by Sharhamm » Sun Mar 01, 2015 1:16 pm

Forgot to put my SD card back into the machine last night. Put it back in this AM so it could be posted. I am able to read the left side of the information after, but it is just showing a sheep in the area where the events, flow rate, and etc. should be. Is there anyway to get this information back?

no. all the detail information is written directly to the card, if you don't have your card in, there's nowhere for the machine to store the info.

Why did only half of the report post? I thought that when you remove your card for a period the machine will store you info and then rewrite it on the sd when it is reinserted?

internally the machine only stores summary date ... all the detail is stored on the sd card
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Get the Clinicians manual here : http://apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-press ... tup-manual

The ResMed machines don't store all the detailed files (needed for all those graphs) in its internal memory so it can only put on the SD card what little it has stored in its internal memory...hence the need for the SD card to be in the machine all night.

Now Respironics PR System One machines actually store almost all the detailed data files on their internal memories so really only one detailed graph gets lost if those cards aren't in the machine overnight.
Unfortunately with the S9 machines that isn't the case so ResMed machines users have to be extra diligent in making sure they get that SD card back in the machine.
I am unsure as to how much data the newest ResMed AirSense machines will store in their internal memory so to be safe we just say "try to remember to always have the SD card in the machine at night".
