REMstar PRO humidifier settings

Post by CathySSSSS » Sun Mar 01, 2015 10:51 am

Just had a new CPAP machine dropped off. Technician told us that #5 is the lowest humidity setting and #1 is the highest. Seems odd to us. Assume "0" to be none and then it increases from there starting at "1". Who is correct?!

Oh, and he failed to insert the SD card in the back of the unit before he left. Niiiiiice.

Well....it ain't the technician who is correct.
Pretty scarey when they can't even understand how the humidifier works...
0 is off...1 is the least amount of moisture delivered with humidifier on...5 is the greatest amount of moisture added to the air delivered by the machine.

Just wanted to add that this information on the humidifier levels - which is highest and lowest - is NOT shown in either user manual (the unit and the humidifier). Found that odd too. Thanks again!
