I thought flex on a CPAP was a poor man's bipap, lowering the pressure for exhale. So, why does bipap need flex?
What is the difference between lowering the EPAP pressure and increasing the flex? How should these be used together?
What is bi-flex?
Re: What is bi-flex?
BiFlex is in addition to the relief offered with separate EPAP and IPAP pressures and not nearly as dramatic feeling as pressure support feels.

If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Re: What is bi-flex?
flex is more of a pressure shaping technique than a pressure reduction, plus, it's respironics 'thing' so they plaster it everywhere.biflexquestion wrote:I thought flex on a CPAP was a poor man's bipap, lowering the pressure for exhale. So, why does bipap need flex?
