Changing air flow setting
I have a Respironics model Remstar Pro. I would like to change the air flow from a setting of 8 to a setting of 10. Can that be done by me or does it require a maintenance technician.

Re: Changing air flow setting
you can change your settings
go here to get the Clicicians manual : http://www.apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-p ... tup-manual
but so you don't have to learen how to "fish" to eat
turn the knob till setup is highlighted
press knob and ramp button together for about 5 sec till it beeps
turn know to setup ... press knob and turn knob till pressure is highlited
press knob .... turn knob to change pressure

If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Re: Changing air flow setting
Which one? Respironics (and now Philips/Respironics) has used the "Pro" model designation for about a dozen years.cannonball wrote:I have a Respironics model Remstar Pro. If there's a model number (on the bottom) you'd better check that before you get some instructions which apply to another generation of machine.
Also, the instructions for getting into the setups on the various models have been posted many times on the forum. Just depends on which one you're looking for.
