Contour CPAP pillow with pillow cover
Re: Contour CPAP pillow with pillow cover
Thank you, Sheriff! This is the information I want! I have used a buckwheat pillow in the past and did not do well with it.
Because of Rheumatoid Arthritis pain, I never roll onto my side. My body seems to know that rolling onto my side will cause me to wake up with pain.
I appreciate your input as someone who has used this pillow! I will probably try it out, thanks to you. You gave me lots of good info!

Well, after hearing that you are definitely not a side sleeper, the Contour may work good for you. I like the ledge it has for neck support. Good luck to ya'...

Thanks Sheriff. It sounds like a good possibility for me. I'll be giving it a try.

palerider - you sure want to put words in my mouth! I did not say the replies were not worth my time. I asked for replies with specific and real experience. Any reply that did come from those with the particular experience I was looking for, did not help. That's the long and short of it.
I don't reply to such very specific requests on this, or any other forum, unless I have the particular experience that the OP is asking for. I've seen too many threads go on and on with no help. The OP often has to come into the thread again and clarify, many times, to get any help.
Some questions are general and the OP wants many suggestions. This was not the case for me in this thread. I wanted people with the experience I was looking for to respond to me. I thought I made it clear.

A small pillow with cutouts for the mask if you sleep on your side.

folks, this is a spammer. the new trend is to quote some old message, and change part of the quoted part to be a link to what they're spamming.
I've reported it to carolyn so she can delete the spammers acct.

Sneaky! I see what he did. SHAMEFUL!
Besides which, the product linked would be completely USELESS for cpap use.

Re: Contour CPAP pillow with pillow cover
Everything I've read said if you sleep on your back use a thin, not-too-soft pillow like memory foam. That said, do what feels comfortable for you. I really like buckwheat hull pillows since they are so easy to mold, however some people can't deal with the firmness.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Who is the spammer here? From what I see, Julie responded to a post that was 1.5 years old; then LSAT, then you. LSAT posted a link- is he the spammer you're referring to? Hawthorne is not a spammer; Hawthorne has almost 4,000 posts on the forum so obviously has been a longtime member. Is the spammer you or Julie? Did either of you post a link, and then remove it?
If you want a post deleted, why don't you use your own Delete button? Isn't that what it is for? If yours isn't working for some reason, ask Julie to delete it; I'm sure she'd be happy to help (she doesn't like spammers either.)
*Note: If a post in this thread has already been deleted, please re-post it so myself and other members can have full disclosure to all details of the conversation. Thank you.

I am not PR but wanted to say this....SleepyEyes21 wrote:Who is the spammer here? .........Did either of you post a link, and then remove it?
I saw the offending post that was spam. It is totally gone now and I assume Carolyn removed it because when she removes something it's gone gone for good...unlike when we spam remove something and we can look back at the posts once we have clicked the reply to button.
What happened was a spammer quoted Hawthorne's original post but instead of leaving the link that was originally in the post the spammer inserted a link to something totally different.
The spammer made it look like Hawthorne had inserted the link be it wasn't what was originally linked.
It's a new tactic that spammers are using to try to sneak their products into the public eye and past the spam censors. Quote and established forum member and edit the quote so that their product link shows up. Sneaky little bastards but we catch them and we remove them.
You all probably don't know what else goes on behind the scenes when we spot a "new" forum member who comes here just to promote their product...not only do I spam remove them but I am sending a note to Carolyn so that she can ban the individual member from doing it again. Now we all know that the offender can easily create a new forum ID but if we keep removing and then banning them so that they can't post this crap it becomes more work for the offender and maybe they will just give up when they realize that what they are spamming doesn't last 2 minutes on the forum and they get banned so they can't spam again ...at least under that forum ID.
Carolyn and her team are constantly working on trying to make it harder for spammers. We know we can't stop them all but we try. There's a lot of spam filtering going on behind the scenes too.
I think that once I spam remove something and I notify Carolyn that she not only bans the person but on her end she can totally remove the offending post so it no longer is scene when we do the "reply to " trick. For a forum administrator it is easy to see and remove anything that was spam removed by a forum member. I used to do it all the time on a forum that I owned. I also would ban the offender at the same time. Easy to do.

Now this thread makes a bit more sense.
Can you give us a clear explanation (and examples) on what the Spam button should be used for? I understand that Carolyn and her team have to work to take care of spammers, yet when others delete posts because they simply don't agree with something said, it makes the posts difficult to follow. Thanks
