Re: Keeping a machine history with Sleepyhead
You can point Sleepyhead to use any folder on the computer, but it will not aggregate the data back to another folder. For you PRS1 machine, Sleepyhead aggregates the data by profile and machine. Under each machine, three folders, Backup, Events and Summaries. I don't personally know how to merge th...

Re: New to cpap, 3 weeks in, now falling asleep at work.
Looks like you're using a minimum pressure of 6.0, and your AHI is under control, but plenty of snores and flow limitations, that seem to be related to the dip in SpO2. Nothing serious, but I agree with Pugsy that an increase in minimum pressure looks like a good idea. I would go for a minimum of 7....

Re: Help with reading this.
Your results are excellent and the few CA and H events are nothing to worry about. You are using your APAP near the high end of your required pressure, which means the pressure never really increases or decreases. You could take a few cm off minimum pressure, but this is working pretty well. You hav...

Re: Selling a cpap...Advice
It's almost certain your in-network provider will be required to report compliance to your insurer. In most cases they will obtain it wirelessly by registering the machine issued to you; or if they don't receive that data will ask for the SD card or compliance check code. Best bet is to sell the mac...

Re: Bipap machine help
mandark, you should start a thread asking for a bilevel ST or ASV machine. Several member have sold these machines on a surprisingly regular basis. Also send a PM to Grayghost4, as he is one of the better sellers here. Finally, what state are you in? The Google-foo is strong in some of us, and we mi...

Re: Bipap machine help
Your current machine has a backup rate that is not available in the BiPAP Pro. One way to look for a Philips Respironics BiPAP S/T or Resmed S9 VPAP ST or Resmed Aircurve 10 ST is to search on SearchTempest.com which allows you to search many locations at once.

Re: rental machine?
The BiPAP Auto SV has a CPAP mode. It's not ideal for titration since pressure is fixed. I think a simple screening using something that can record blood oxygen saturation at night would be a better tool to see if the problem needs to be addressed further. Even some of the fitness monitors can do th...

Re: Chronic Fatigue at Young Age, How Do These Results Look?
Your testosterone levels could explain much of your symptoms. It's pretty unusual for a person as young as you are, but I would encourage you to get a referral to an endocrinologist. It would be easy to simply supplement T, but keep in mind it would make you exogenous (dependent on external sources ...

Re: Need advice on new machine
Greg, what is your deductible and copay? It may be advantageous to simply buy direct than deal with a grossly inflated DME price and all the hassle. If your coverage is close to 100% then go with the DME, but if you are charged $1300+ for a machine and DME services, and insurance covers 80%, you are...

Re: Time to shop for my CPAP!
I have experienced the frustration of buying a new Airsense 10 Autoset from an online vendor. I just received the machine, I found the SD card is missing. I also found the cover of SD card and adapter are very sticky, it looks like something like label was glued on the cover. I feel the machine may...
