Resmed louder at times
Resmed louder at times
Sometimes I wake up during the night from what I think is my resmed s9 sounding louder than normal. So I'm wondering is this the leak compensation kicking in? I wake up really confused from the sound.

are you leaking at the time?Logies101 wrote:Sometimes I wake up during the night from what I think is my resmed s9 sounding louder than normal. So I'm wondering is this the leak compensation kicking in? I wake up really confused from the sound.
check the data and see if the pressure's had to go up for whatever reason.

Re: Resmed louder at times
Yes I think I may be leaking but my pressure is set at 9 so sleepyhead always shows a steady 9 on the graph regardless of my leaks. Does the machine work harder/louder to maintain that pressure of 9 and that is what I'm hearing? Sorry PR I'm not explaining it very well.

you should look at the leak graph, not the set pressure graph.Logies101 wrote:Yes I think I may be leaking but my pressure is set at 9 so sleepyhead always shows a steady 9 on the graph regardless of my leaks. Re: Resmed louder at times
How much louder? Does it sound different or just louder?
Is the water tank low? Some PRS1 machines seem to sound louder if the water tank is low, but I haven't noticed that on S9 machines.
