Respiratory Data

I need help understanding this report,
The patient was titrated on to Adaptive Servo Ventilation with an EPAP of 15 and a minimum ps of +5 and a maximum PS of +10 Interpretation Successful ASV titration with above settings. On going Adaptive Servo Ventilation is recommended. Need help with inhale and exhale numbers.

Ed, it looks like you're about to become the proud owner of an adaptive servo ventilator. Your titration indicates a minimum exhale pressure of 15 and minimum inhalation pressure (IPAP) of +20 (pressure support 5), and a maximum inhalation pressure IPAP of 25 (PS+10).

This suggests an Auto ASV machine with those settings. Hope all is well , and best of luck with the new machine.

you were correct up until you said that about the autoasv... those are fixed asv settings, otherwise there'd min and max epap settings, as opposed to a fixed epap.

all ASVs vary the ipap.
