Re: OT: Sensus for Pain Management
From their website, it looks to be a localized TENS unit.

Re: OT: Sensus for Pain Management
How much does it cost?
Re: OT: Sensus for Pain Management for Peripheral Neuropathy
Have no idea how much it costs. From the booklet it say's Optimal placement for Sensus is on the upper calf, which allows the device to stimulate the L4-S2 dermatomes. The stimulation prompts the body to release enkephalins that decrease the perception of pain. Because these pain relieving chemicals are released from the central nervous system, the pain relief will typically be widespread. I have a tens unit and it only works locally. It's covered by medicare. It looks like it's mainly for people that have peripheral neuropathy which I have.
