Still Snoring with CPAP
Hi, My wife has advised me that I still snore with my CPAP on, I have a resmed airsense 10 and have cranked up the minimum pressure on the CPAP to 11.0 which my sleep tech said was my average pressure when I was asleep. But with no ramp up time and a high minimum pressure I am still snoring. Has any...

deep inhales during the daytime is this common?
Hi, For quite a while only sometimes during the day a quick deep inhales occur while I'm awake. This inhale causes a snoring sound because is so short and sharp and its a little embarrassing when in a silent office a couple of times a day there sounds like a pig is in my office. It is like I forget ...

Re: ResMed AirSense 10 Autoset
My Airsense 10 does the same thing, I use the climate Lin hose and a f&p Eson nasal mask.
Autoset pressure between 4.0 and 15.0 but most of the time at night when I sleep its around 8.0
I get the same noise when I breath but I find it relaxing with a repetitive noise so not really a problem for me.

Re: Water for Humidifier
It depends where you live I live in New Zealand now and the water is good so I can use tap water, but I lived in London for 5 years and the water is not so good the water is drinkable but there is heaps of lime scale in the water the hot water jug has lime scale floaters after just a few uses.

Re: F & P Icon Premo
I was considering the same options between and F & P Auto and a Resmed Airsense 10, i went for the resmed much for the reasons tangle hose supplied. I found the Resmed quieter as my wife is a really light sleeper and noticed the difference between the two. The humidifier function was better on the F...

High Ding Sounds F & P Premo?
I am currently trailing the Fisher and Paykel Premo and i really like it and it also has a great Eson mask that came for free. The only problem is when i take a deep breath in, the F & P Premo CPAP machine makes a quite but high dinging sound like a radar on a submarine and my wife hates it. Is ther...

I have been using CPAP for about 5 weeks now and my therapy is going good, I use just a nose mask and my mouth stays shut all night and is quite comfortable but when I lie on my side the pillow tilts my nose mask just a little and I am woken by a small shot a cool air in the eye about 5 or so times ...
