Re: Mask suggestions ???
Thank you Pugsy! I was hoping you would reply. I will check into those masks and see if they look like something he should try. I don't really expect anyone here to know much about the appliances but figured I would ask just in case someone here has tried that route.

Re: Crazy low insurance reimbursement
It has been a few years since I have dealt with this. But if my memory is correct, many insurance companies require you to rent the machine for a certain number of months before they will approve purchasing the machine. I believe this is because they want the patient to demonstrate that they will ac...

Mask suggestions ???
Hello! I am looking for some advice for my 90 year old father. He was diagnosed with sleep apnea probably over 15 years ago and has struggled off and on to try to use a CPAP machine and has never been successful. He has recently been having heart issues and today the cardiologist told him that he re...

Re: New larger AirSense bag! Has spot for mask
Nice alternative! --especially if your mask is bulky. I actually like the smaller case, and it just occurred to me that I could stuff my P10 into the tank cavity. --or even the clean dry tank. Thank you so much for sharing that idea! I'm not sure I would have thought of doing that. I'm going to try...

Re: FOR SALE ResMed H5i humidifier, chamber & ClimateLine
After all these years of buying quilts, blankets, from the cheaper stores and being disappointed in the size, Wally World has really gotten it right with this bedding! I love this quilt! Just feminine enough for me without being too girly for my husband (he hates bedding with flower print!). We hav...

Re: FOR SALE ResMed H5i humidifier, chamber & ClimateLine
Sorry everyone! I was away from the forum for a while and didn't see any of the comments since December. Yes, the quilt is Better Homes & Gardens and I bought it at Walmart a year or two ago. Actually, I went looking for this post today because these items ARE still available. Got busy and forgot to...

Re: AS 10 and sleepyhead compatibility.
My husband and I both have the Airsense 10 and I use Sleepyhead to see our daily detail. Works great! I see you tried it though and it didn't work for you. I'm not a technical person so I can't help with figuring out why. Hopefully someone else will be along shortly to help you figure out how to get...

Re: supplies question
Okay, I've gone back and reread all of your posts (and I did finally find the one I quoted but on a different day and time than you said) and I think I finally get what you are saying. The DME you work for doesn't actually lose money on the sale (they are still collecting more money than the machin...

Re: supplies question
You are correct that Medicare reimbursement rates vary by region. In the part of southern California were I am located the rate is $42/month x 13 months. The heated humidifier is a sale item and is not included in the rental. An Auto CPAP (ResMed or Respironic) cost my company over $300 kcodeblue, ...
