SleepyHead ESO problem?

Post by CPAPER Paul » Wed Nov 26, 2014 4:22 pm

I had been using Sleepyhead version 9.6. for about 2 months successfully.... shortly after after Mark put out the newer 9.8-1 version I upgraded to that and it too had worked well for several weeks. In the last couple of days I collected oximeter data (my finger hurts ) and was able to upload that directly from a Contec CMS50F by USB.... It was kind of hit or miss as the program crashed numerous times while attempting the Contec upload. But it did finally recognize the Contec and uploaded the file and displayed it properly.

After that upload, when I would re-open Sleepyhead it would start from the "Welcome to SleepyHead" terms acceptance screen and would make me enter a new profile as though my old profile didn't exist! It made me recreate a new profile. And when I would re-enter the data from my SD Card (which would appear to be correct on the statistics page) I found that:

1) Graphs on the Daily page showed blank as "Plots disabled" even though the graphs were checked off as enabled in the lower right of the page and there was data displayed on the statistics page and other pages.

2) Even though I filled in (again) the information for a "profile" and "saved" that profile, when I quit the program it didn't remember that profile, so each time I try to open Sleepyhead it wants me to establish a new profile.

I tied downloading and re-installing the program, but that didn't seem to help.

I am using the Mac open-GL version 9.8-1. I make sure that my SD Card is write protected when I access it so I don't think the data on the card is the problem.

Perhaps it's an "ESO" problem (equipment superior to operator ), and maybe I am doing something wrong.... any suggestions?

Thanks,
Paul

I don't know much about mac stuff, so all I can say is that sleepyhead is *written* on a mac... all the other versions are deriviations of that.

Yep, and it has worked well up until I began trying to upload the Oximeter data... maybe a file got corrupted... just grasping at straws here.

I deleted the program and reloaded it, but to no avail.
