AHI in sleepyhead is buggy

Post by cnaumann » Sat Nov 22, 2014 7:46 am

After the discussion of AHI calculations in Sleepyhead the other day, I did some checking.

There seems to be a pretty serious bug with reporting AHI in sleepy head when there are multiple sessions or possibly when there is oximetery data.

This was taken from v0.9.8-1

Yes I know my stats look like crap, but don't worry about that. They were much better last night. I had just gotten a new Nuance Nasal Pillow Mask and had a number of quick sessions at different pressure settings as I was checking it for leaks in the afternoon. There is also an oximeter session.

Here is the first screen shot. There is about 5 hours and 17 minutes of total session data on the machine in 17 sessions. Only two of them are of any significant length. There is also 8 hours and 10 minutes of oximetery data.

Here is a screen shot of total events. There are 40 Hyponeas, 7 obstructives, and 5 clear airway events At least 52 events for AHI calculations.

Here the final AHI score is being reported at 5.96. Yesterday, when I recorded this into my spreadsheet it was reporting 10.1. It changed overnight.
52 events over about 5 hours would give an AHI around 10.1, so yesterday's number might have been correct. The number being reported when I review the data today is 52 events over about 8 hours and 45 minutes.
