Pillows vs full mask on the settings? Had it wrong.
I have an airsense 10 by resmed. After reading the heartburn posts i decided to change/ check some pressure settings. But what I noticed was the section under "masks". I had been using it while it was in "pillow" mode , when I have a full face mask. I am curious what the difference will be tonight. ...

Re: Kaviance for sleep?
Hi hf, yep, it looks like I misspelled it. But, I got you to look it up. You are choosing not to try it. And that's ok. Do you know how many thousands of people will look it up now that it's been posted on this site? We have choices. We are free. People come here looking for answers. It might not be...

Re: Kaviance for sleep?
Hi Bji, I did read about it. And seeing how fast and well it works I am not surprised. It's used in Russia and has been since the 60s. My plan was to use it for a month. Replenish my system and let it rest. See how it goes. Breaks between will be considered. I don't plan on taking more than is neede...

Re: Kaviance for sleep?
Since there are over 20 something responses and only two people who actually tried this product. Both with good results. Will the good results continue? That is the million dollar question. For me: first night was great and really felt that heady feeling I get from the cpap machine or my brain after...

When taking Xanax perhaps you aren't tossing and turning as much? Til the wear off.
Just a thought.

Re: Kaviance for sleep?
Wow! Worked like a charm. My daughter got up at 4 am and my wife was up for two hours with her. I didn't hear a thing. Slept like a baby and feel great. Ahi was .08. Between tweaking my epr and pressures and finding kaviance I may have found some peace. I especially like the the foe list as I will F...

Re: Kaviance for sleep?
Hi Jen, does he take it before bed? I'm trying to find where it says to take before bed. The kaviance isn't something that has to be taken before bed. As far as I can tell. I read somewhere that I should take it the morning. The bottle says two a day not to exceed 6 in 24hr. I think it works on repl...

Re: Kaviance for sleep?
Yes, I do look it up and did. I heard about it here. However, there is a risk of reading too much. Sometimes what one thinks is what happens. It's like looking at my ahi and thinking if I don't get it below one I won't get good sleep. For me that's the opposite. I need to let the ahi go up a bit bec...

Kaviance for sleep?
Anyone try kaviance for sleep?
I think I am going to pick some up today. I found Alsace locally that sells it. They don't have the ultra pm kaviance just the regular kaviance.
I'll let ya all know how it goes.......

Re: Insomnia
I heard someone mention Kaviance as a sleep aide. I looked it up and found they also have an ultra pm kaviance. The difference between the two is the regular kaviance has taurine while the ultra uses melatonin. The ultra is more Anyone ever try this? I think I might try it but I have to but it on li...

Re: Should I change my minimum pressure and turn on EPR?
from my experience last night while using the epr set to two , I noticed a completely different feel to my breathing. I've played with my minimums and maximums a lot and nothing compared to the feeling a had last night while using the epr set to two. Nothing. I see it as a whole new ball game. A gam...

Re: Should I change my minimum pressure and turn on EPR?
Wow, it's a shame this epr thing is turned off. I turned it on last night and it was so much easier to exhale . So much easier! I had a great night sleep. Ahi was 3.8 but I can feel better with an ahi in the 3 s vs in the 1 or 2s. But this was probably due to me not being able to handle higher press...

Re: Should I change my minimum pressure and turn on EPR?
With the airsense, is the epr already on and set at one? Or is this something I turn on? Also,
I've been having some issues with air getting in my stomach.
What could I change that might help air in my stomach?
