Alternatives to SleepyHead

Post by Noctuary » Fri Nov 21, 2014 5:49 pm

I bought a used laptop, downloaded SleepyHead, but it doesn't work, just crashes. Is there anything else like it I can try?

If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Get the Clinicians manual here : http://apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-press ... tup-manual

Do you have any idea what OS is in the laptop? Even whether it's a PC or Mac? SH works with some programs, but not all (going back into history), and e.g. Encore or Encore 2 works with some, but not all.

Its a used laptop with Microsoft windows as its OS. That's all I can say now; I will have to wait until I get home, if I remember my way home (the brain fog is that bad today).

you have to have a machine that creates data for sleepyhead to be able to use it.

unless you've gotten another machine...

You are going to have to use ResScan to see what limited data your machine collects.
SleepyHead was not written with the ability to do much with the limited data that the S9 Escape Auto collects.
All you are going to get is an AHI number and maybe a pressure number of some kind. No graphs..no event category break down...no leak data at all (no way at all to know if you are having leak issues compromising your therapy...

Go to this link and follow the instructions for how to get ResScan
Here's a tutorial on how to use the software and download the data
