How often do you change your pillow pads?

Post by Finnc » Fri Oct 24, 2014 10:44 am

I know I can change them every two months, but do most of you change them? I'm not sure if it's my head cold or the pads just being a little worn but last night I ended up not using cpap because I seriously could not breath with it on. I messed with the humidity higher and lower. For the life of me I couldn't figure out how to turn the ramp off though. At 4 am I just gave up. Since I got use to cpap I love using it and even use it during naps so it aggervated me that last night was such a fail.

Now that you're awake, you can look in the manual and find out how to turn off the ramp. And then you can decide if your pads look worn or not. Just because insurance pays for new supplies all the time does not mean you have to take them... if only for the environment's sake.

How do you know if they look worn? I have no clue what to look for? I guess I can just compare them to the ones I don't use.

I am getting more but couldn't figure out if it's because I am having a harder time breathing because of the heard cold and changing positions more so the mask was moving more.
