Are huge flow rate variations normal?
At some points during the night I have a very hight flow rate......then it shrinks down, then jumps back up in a cycle.
Does this look normal? This cycle and flow rate of 120 seem high to me..

So it's abnormal? There are nights where it gets even worse....

Re: Are huge flow rate variations normal?
I have NO idea. But, looking at that last report, they're in about 1 1/2 - 2 hour cycles, so maybe they're related to REM (or dreaming).

well, it's far greater than what I see on other machines.justinjustin wrote:So it's abnormal? There are nights where it gets even worse....palerider wrote:that's some mighty heavy breathin you're doing there, podnah!
it's interesting that the line seems to be offset from center, also.
what version of SH are you using?

The screen shot is from SleepyHead v0.9.5, but I upgraded to SleepyHead v0.9.8 and the offset was fixed back to centre.
Still not sure about why I'm taking such huge breaths and whether it's normal. Maybe my pressures are too high?

you were saying the peaks were at 120/140 but that was when they were far offcenter.

Re: Are huge flow rate variations normal?
I just figured it might be interesting what's happening with your heart rate and o2 sats during those breathing episodes.justinjustin wrote:I dont have oxygen recording, but my studies never had much desatspalerider wrote:
