Where Can I Get a Clinical Sleep Study Done in Asia

I joined this forum seeking help for what I consider (pretty sure you all do as well) a pretty debilitating disorder. I am writing this in a fog right now.

Anyway I am currently living in Shanghai China and I am interested in getting a comprehensive sleep study done (Polysomnogram I believe its called). I had the DIY sleep at home gizmo that didn't work, I need the real deal that monitors EVERYTHING. I am willing to travel within region to get this done (Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, etc.). I have yet to find anywhere in China that even resembles the real thing.

Also it would be nice if said clinic also sold CPAP machines so I can have a one stop shopping experience.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading this and thanks in advance for your help.

Have you actually talked to a doctor there - pulmonologist, neurologist etc... they have very good doctors there if you can find the right facility. And even if they don't have our idea of sleep labs, they may be able to refer you to places that carry autotitrating machines like the S9 Autoset, etc. When you say it 'didn't work' (home test), what specifically do you mean?

Yes, talked to several doctors in Beijing and shanghai. Beijing was a government owned military hospital, where I slept with a chest strapped kit in the doctor's break room. Needless to say the tests were inconclusive. Then I went to an ENT specialist in an international hospital in Shanghai who gave me the same exact chest strapped machine I had in Beijing but this time sent it home with me. First time the doctor said "sensor X" fell off you need to do this again. Then the second time the results were either mild to severe OSA and the doctor would not write a script for a CPAP machine. I was frustrated and left the whole process behind, that was 2+ years ago now. As I mentioned in the post, I am in desparate need of the real deal.

I have found that Bumrungrad hospital in Bangkok Thailand has this service. Read reviews that the hospital was good but can't find any feedback on sleep study experiences there. Would prefer to stay closer like Hong Kong or Korea.

You know, there aren't a whole lot of forum people either from that part of the world, or even who've been there, let alone are knowledgable about current sleep labs. Can you not get hold of any auto machine and titrate at home - we could help you with it if you'd like, especially if you can post results here using a site like Photobucket for graphs, etc., and a link here to the pix. I think there may be apps to help you as well, but others here are probably more familiar with that kind of thing.

Thanks but nobody will sell me a machine without a script and there lies my problem. I will try to get a study done then get a machine. I'm sure I will need the support and expertise of this group after I get the machine to get the maximum results.
