Post by ErnieH » Sat Oct 18, 2014 11:13 am

Has anyone used this device and if you have, how did you like it? Here's the video I saw on it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nzv2PGaOZF8

Thanks,
Ernie

I have not used it, because, in my opinion, it is a crock. Sorry.

I just called my friend who is the Lab Manager at P&G. He's the one who told me about it. He told me he had checked the Medical findings on it, and it does what it says. I'm going to buy one just because I know he checks things out 100%.

Thanks,
Ernie

It sanitizes the machine from the air that you are breathing every day. I'm glad you are buying this...it helps the overall economy.

Ernie you are absolutely correct. I just purchased a SoClean 2. I will use the SoClean 2 to clean the machine and hoses, masks and water tank daily. I will also wipe the mask daily with CPAP wipes, and also wash same weekly with Dove soap. I have a low tolerance for sinus infection.

A good friend told me Ozone is absolutely effective for this purpose of cleaning CPAP. devises, masks, hoses, reservoirs . IThis same technology is being used in hospitals and medical device companies to sterilize plastic. My friend graduated the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) where his undergraduate thesis was on phase transitions in liquid crystals. In 1982 he received his MS and Ph.D. in Physics from Harvard University after explaining the physics behind the normal-superconducting transition and sub-harmonic energy gap in point contact junctions. He had a major role in the AT&T Lab and also the Bell Lab. As to those people that are too narrow minded on technology, take a hike!

Don't forget to put your soap in it, don't want agerm to get by, bathrooms are the most germ infested room in the home. Jim

I LOVE technology! I just think the SoClean is a waste of money.
