Black Graphs in new SleepyHead

Post by RSO » Tue Sep 30, 2014 12:27 pm

I have downloaded both the most recent SH 9.8-0 and the previous 9.6 test versions for Mac OSX. The daily tab left side with calendar and data is fine, but right side graphs are all black Image and the overview graph has color bar lines on black background such that the graph text and border can't be seen Image. Interestingly, if I print a report, everything prints like it is supposed to Image. I have tried using both OS 10.6.8 and 10.7.5. Any ideas? With older CPAP machines I had, older versions of SH used to work, but when I changed to a Philips Respironics System One (60 Series) BiPAP autoSV Advanced (960P), SH stopped working until I tried the latest two test versions which work as I indicated above. Thanks

Screenshot says OpenGL.. Your Mac does not support OpenGL 2.0 properly! You need to download the BrokenGL version

Report printing works because it's rendering graphs to QPixmap images instead of the screen device.

Broken GL version works. Thanks. Interestingly, when I first tried to load the BrokenGL version, it said may computer supported OpenGL and I would not need the Broken version, but it worked, so Thanks!

Hmmm.. You might find their better video drivers around for your Mac.. I'm not exactly sure where to get them though, as usually on Mac, they come with OSX updates.

I had a similar problem with my Windows notebook with intel HD3000 graphics.. After the a recent driver update, the problems went away.

Anyway, the BrokenGL version is perfectly safe to run, and if you find it's running acceptably, stick with it! (I meant to change that warning a little on first start, as it's been a bit confusing.)
