AirFit P10 SMALL nasal pillows - free

Post by JaceS » Tue Sep 23, 2014 5:41 am

After two cycles of trying the AirFit P10, I had to switch back to the Swift FX. The head strap stretched out too much on the AirFit and I wasn't getting a tight fit after 1-2 weeks of using the AirFit. I called the manufacturer and they were "surprised" to hear my complaint. They said this was the first they have heard of this problem.

To that end, I have a couple of AirFit P10 SMALL nasal pillows still in sealed packaging I am happy to send to anyone that can use them. (No charge). My DME sends me way too many supplies every 3 months and I typically I send them back. It seems to create problems for BC/BS when I return them so instead of returning these SMALLS I am having to offer them to anyone who can use them.

If anyone can use the AirFIT pillows in size SMALL, drop me a line and I'll mail them out today.

Sleep tight.

I have to wash the P10 headgear fairly often to get its bounce back.
Sweat and soil really impedes the spring in the elastic.

Interesting... I have the opposite problem. When I do the weekly wash of mine, it takes a couple days to stretch out, to the point that it will not be too tight (I have the straps at a 90 degree angle or more). That said, washing in hot water definitely will tighten up the straps, even after 4 months of use.

I wish I had your problem. I have two Airfit P10 masks and they still haven't stretched out enough for me, even after several washings/stretches. The two I have fit me differently tho... one definitely tighter than the other.

I have several size small pillows but I'm sure someone will take you up on your offer.

Yeah, mine was getting a little more stretched than was useful as well. Just washed it in warm water, back to like it was when new. Since I have a big head, this doesn't happen very often *smile*.

model # of machine, plus type of mask and hopefully (if you know them) your pressure settings. Are you using software to see how you're doing?

Hi,
If you still have the small nasal pillows for the Airfit P10 I could use them.
Thanks, Cindy
