SF Bay Area cpaptalkers get-together

Post by kaiasgram » Sun Sep 21, 2014 3:30 am

A couple of us have entertained the idea of a get together for some of the forum regulars who live in or around the SF Bay Area. A number of us already email each other and have become forum buddies but have yet to meet face to face. If you're interested post here or send me a PM. And if you're far away but don't want to miss the party let me know, I'll keep you posted too.

Sign me up... that's a great idea. How about at Hooters? <just kidding> Also just in time for the end of summer.

Maybe out-of-state members can Skype the fun or something like that. Kaiasgram (or K-animal, as I like to call her), knows how to throw a great party. Bring your own hose and join the fun.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Uh oh. I've created a monster.

But seriously, yay! And do see if you can persuade our friend Roger to come -- I'm dying to know if he walks around carrying that "HELP" sign all the time...

Hmm, a cpap-themed party... we could have some fun with this, yes?

If the party will be half as much fun as this thread already is ... we should have a great time! Should we wear our masks?
If only the folks with sawdust for brains were as sweet and obliging and innocent as The Scarecrow! ~a friend~

Yes, it's the price of admission. Plus your mask's short hose will be needed for some of the party games...

You should have a fashion show of night-time readiness.

I'm sure the staff at (venue/eatery) will freak out when everyone shows up with masks on!
--then ask to be shown to a table with access to 8 outlets. .

A nice little group coming together so far. I'll PM y'all at the end of the week (including those who have PM'd me) to coordinate everything.

More likely a T-shirt than a sign *smile*. That's a metaphor you can read either way...we can all offer help to others and use help ourselves *smile*. Like Lucy in Peanuts, "Psychiatric help $.05".

Anyways, sounds like a plan!

K, count me in! I haven't posted in awhile, due to other life priorities, but I will always credit this forum for our successful transition to PAP.

Well you are all worth meeting, but the Bay Area is a big place, and I'm not sure just getting together for coffee or something is a good enough reason...

But - maybe something like this would be an interesting event to meet at - this one happens to be in my back yard and that's how I know about it. Something similar somewhere else would be just as good. My ENT spoke at one of these events recently but I've never been to one.
