No more sore nose with Airfit F10

Post by Sleepysuz » Wed Sep 17, 2014 12:31 pm

Followed advice to tighten lower straps. Then loosened upper ones so it wasn't jammed against me face. Seemed so pulled away from the bridge of my nose that I was sure it would leak, but then the air flow started the silicone filled up like a hot air balloon and made a nice cushion. No hard plastic to rub my nose red. Sometimes less is more.

It's the same with pretty much all the masks that need to inflate to seal. Like the nasal pillow masks. People have them so tight to avoid leaking or movement that they hurt their nose when all that is needed is to loosen the straps so the nasal pillows can fully inflate and then the little buggers seal great and don't really move.

Less is definitely more when it comes to tightening straps for cushions or pillows that need to inflate to work well.
