What is the User Name and password for EncorePRO 2

Try this:

The first time you open EncorePro 2, enter the default EncorePro 2 user name and password:
User Name: “EncoreAdmin”
Password: “password1”

Then, you will be prompted to change the user name and password.

Note: If the administrator forgets the “EncoreAdmin” account password, the Reset Admin Account utility can be used, with the assistance of Respironics Customer Support, to reset the “EncoreAdmin” account password. This utility is installed by
default and should only be used by administrators. Administrators may choose to remove this utility from workstations as an added measure of security.

If you mess up with either the User Name or the password 3 times in a row then Pro will lock up the software and Respironics won't help you unlock it because they only do that for DMEs and doctors. They won't give a patient that unlock code.
There is a way to go into a registry file and fix it but I don't know how to explain how to do it so I tell people to reinstall since that's all I know how to do.

The default password expiration time is 90 days....so people should also change the expiration time to never so that they won't forget to change the password every 89 days.

And when logging in....if it fails after 2 attempts....don't risk that 3rd strike by trying again. Instead close the program and re open it so that you have 3 more strikes available.
Everything with the log in ID and password is case sensitive...so watch the upper and lower cases.

Encore Basic and Encore Viewer don't use the password and log in ID crap....that's why I suggest people use Basic...less hassle and they don't have to worry about messing up and getting to install the software all over again.
The reports are all the same no matter which version of Encore gets used. Pro isn't any better in terms of the reports and it is a whole lot worse in terms of hassle and headaches but people think "Pro" must be the best so they want Pro.
Install failure rates are high with Pro...nothing but headaches and you gain nothing in terms of data except maybe the ability to view last months wave form graphs. Not worth the headaches IMHO.
