Was doing fine with my Airfit F10 once I got the size to fit. Had been sleeping on my side and was happy with the set up.
Had surgery the other day and now have to alternate from side to back sleeping. Got huge leaks when I shifted positions Woke up with a sore bridge on my nose.
Tried to make a liner out of a shirt and it helped a little but not a huge difference. Any suggestion as to what I might try to adjust first until I can get some real liners?
Love this forum!

Re: My Airfit F10 worked but now problem
I had that same problem with a sore while initially using my AirFit F10 and I think it's that the silicone part that conforms to the nose area is a little bit stiffer than, say, the equivalent Quattro FX's silicone nose flange. I just applied some triple antibiotic ointment to the spot and put a band-aid over the sore... but first I peeled off the pad of the band-aid because it made a lump which leaked air. The sore healed in three days and hasn't come back and no more band-aid required. I do like the Padacheek liners for the F10, hope you get yours soon!

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Thanks for reply Sir. My nose doesn't have a real sore, it's just getting very red from the shifting when it change position
It stayed in place fine when I stayed on my side. Any other suggestions are most appreciated!

Did you cut the liner to exactly match the outline of your mask? If so, cut it at least 1/2 bigger than that around the outside - you can cut it down later if needed, but you want to have it sticking out around the mask to make sure none of the silicone touches your face. Also be sure to lay the liner on your mask while it's in a horizontal position, put your face into the mask, and while holding it on with one hand, lift your head and pull the headgear on with the headgear. Once you have the headgear on the mask will hold the liner on while you adjust the straps if necessary. If you find some leakage after the machine is on, stretch the liner outward by pulling on that excess fabric - sometimes a wrinkle occurs when putting the mask on and that should fix it.

Now using AirFit F10 mask; Quattro Air is backup mask. RemZzzz mask liners with both.
Re: My Airfit F10 worked but now problem
I tighten the lower straps pretty snug and leave the top a little looser. The snugness holds the mask in place while the cushion is allowed to inflate more around the bridge of your nose.

I'd often do the opposite, given that i'd lie down in bed and then put on the mask (harder to sit comfortably on the side of a hardside waterbed)library lady wrote:Also be sure to lay the liner on your mask while it's in a horizontal position, put your face into the mask, and while holding it on with one hand, lift your head and pull the headgear on with the headgear. I'd lie down, arrange the liner on my face, then put the mask in place and pull the straps behind my head and click 'em in... quick, easy, one step.
just wanted to offer an alternative method that works for me
