I was psyched at first but the more I read the less I feel like upgrading my S9 with humidifier which is something I wouldn't mind doing. I am wondering how it's actually a more effective cpap machine over the S9 auto. How will it help users get a better night sleep? I see it looks nice, is lighter, and has some new data features but I am not seeing how it will help me lower my AHI or keep it consistently low.
The way the machine lowers your AHI is by giving you data feedback, so YOU can make adjustments to improve your therapy.
The difference in the S9 and A10 are small. The A10 for her adds a bit more.

Actually he had the S9 Elite which is a full efficacy data machine but it only has cpap fixed pressure mode available.
He jumped on the chance to get a AirSense full data APAP capable machine...which has both cpap and apap modes available.

I think the new algorithm is in airsense for her can be a real lift. I have been using the Respironics CPAP, APAP and ResMed S9 CPAP and APAP and see that the auto function with ResMed management of flow restriction works best. I look forward to trying Airsense for her.

What kind of improvements are people looking for? What's on the wish list?

@Hyperlexis: a clock? How small is your place?

An update the machine does not give much information for the user next day. Under sleep report on machine face
I got a smiley face for mask leakage
I got hours of use 4 hrs (took it off last night without knowing)
And a happy face for humidifier
That's it no AHI unless I go into technician's mode
They seem to have dumbed it down
To enter clinical menu press and hold down dial button and home

Not happy can't seem to add ahi to the menu screen and it is important information with held from the user in my opinion. I worry older users that aren't as tech savvy will have to rely more on the Dr or supplier to tell them if it is working or to try different masks or techniques.

Gonna try to set it to auto tonight the tech's set it to 8 cm
They were saying I need to set it auto but 2 up 2 down
Is that good information? She was saying if it falls below 4 It may not be effective

what's the "essentials" set to under options in the clinicial menu? 'on' or 'plus' ?? try it in the other setting, either way.

pg18 of the clinician menu shows a pic of the sleep report, and shows ahi... so, that's not there now?

I tried the auto set feature it drowned me out either my nose was running or the machine was too humid. I switched back but by then I went without it.
I'm gonna keep it off auto for now and back on 8cm
