Thanks Palerider...

Stephen
the 037 model IS better than the 007 model, but it's not LOTS better... just maybe a bit more convenient.

it's pretty much the difference in a straight cpap and an auto cpap... just the asv style

either are WAY WAY better for someone with a lot of centrals than an autoset would have been.

Use any mask you want to use. I use the P10 and even seeing pressures up to 22 at times I keep it in place.
If yours is sliding around too much maybe the Swift FX would be more stable for you.

The 36037 does have auto EPAP with the min and max EPAP but not having it shouldn't present any issues.
The last 2 people that I have tried to help do what you are going to try to do actually did better in the non Auto EPAP mode. One person actually had a rented 36007 and we thought buying the 36037 might be a good option but he got much better reports (and felt better) with the 36007 and the auto EPAP ended up not being the optimal way to go and he set it to non auto EPAP mode and it worked out a lot better.

P10 here. Best mask is what works best for you. Quattro Air and F10 worked well for me (with liners) but the P10 is far more comfortable. I see IPAP pressures up to the low 20's and leaks aren't an issue.

I also use the Airfit p10 (for her.) Have never had an issue the entire 14 months I've been using it. I've checked Sleepyhead plenty of times and I have very minimal rare leaks. As long as I put the bottom strap of the mask under my hair the mask doesn't slide on the back of my head. I do need to replace my headgear though as part of it is finally starting to poke through the fabric.

I have used a Wisp and a Sleepweaver Élan And F&P HC 431 FFM, all with reasonable success.
I think that masks are very personal and what works for me,may or may not work for you.
