Can't keep it on

Post by Black Italian » Mon May 04, 2015 1:38 pm

Things are getting better for me with cpap use. It's not great but it's at least getting comfortable. I have had as much as 8 hours with my mask on. The new challenge is that at some point during the night I take it off and dont remember doing so. Sleep member stats reveal that I'm only getting about 3 hours. Any thoughts on what I can do to not take it off?

If you look through the posts you will find MANY on this topic. Many people with this problem tape the mask to your face or try putting a chinstrap over your mask.

This very normal because you're not use to the feeling that a mask presents. You should try using it during the evening, while watching TV, to get used to wearing it. By wearing as much as you can will allow your body to become accustomed to the feeling and you will become less likely to remove it during the night.

Good Luck!
