There are different mask with a different type of head gear.. .there are some that don't go on the back of you neck.

What do CPAP users do when the power goes out?

Didn't think about this until last night when it stormed like crazy!

I have been through 3 masks and as they say 3rd time is a charm I thought I had found the mask that was good. It was working well and I was comfortable. Until about the past 5-6 days. I would say seek out another sleep doctor.... it is sort of like masks.. .sometimes you have to try a few before you hit the right one.


Also.. I know I can't tolerate them... but have you considered nasal pillows?

yes, I sleep on my tummy. I thought to myself last night.... self I'm sure that you can teach yourself to sleep on your side.... bad idea.. I woke up 3 hours after going to sleep sweating, had to potty and terrible acid reflux and jumpy legs... all things I had before I started using my cpap machine...

So I am coming to the conclusion that I have a weird shaped face... the small mask is too small and the medium is a big too small but the large is too big... I have tried two different masks now and I don't feel as though either of them work so well. The first one was too big and it made my eyes swe...

I was just diagnosed at 39... stopped breathing 94 times in an hour! In a week the CPAP has made a worlds difference!

I have the humidifer on but not the heater.....
