candlegirl76, you're doing all the right stuff. Look at you - already posting SleepyHead graphs and excited to see your data!

I also think you will want to be making some small adjustments to your therapy, but wait for the input from our more experienced members on what to change and by how much. When adjustments are made we have to wait to see what the results are as it can take some time for the adjustments to have an effect. You may also be asked for additional information for time periods where some things are seen in the data. Some people take notes on what they remember when they wake up. How many times they woke up, if they had a dry mouth, do they remember any leaks, how rested they felt when they woke up, etc. - just something to look back at. In fact, there is a spot where you can enter notes like this in SleepyHead to add it to the day's data. When you are on the Daily tab, right above the big AHI number is a tab labeled Notes - click on it to add any comments you like. The comments will only be visible when you look at that day's data, so you can have different notes for every day. It's yet one more wonderful feature built in to SleepyHead.

Are you Sarah Palin's neighbor? Can you see Russia from your home like Sarah can?

The Respironics machines don't do flow limitation graphs like the ResMed machines do. Instead they just put the FLs up in the events graph. Note that FL flagging is only available in auto (apap) mode.

FLs, RERAs and snores are flagged but don't count in the AHI score.

Your overall report really looks pretty good and nothing urgently needing attention but there's just a little more events than I would like to see if it were me. The Clear Airway events we ignore because we can't fix them with more pressure with your machine anyway.

I would also suggest maybe trying 6 cm minimum pressure and see of some of the general clutter will clean up a little.
It isn't horrible but the FLs, snores and RERAs along with the hyponeas point to the airway trying to collapse still yet.
The minimum pressure is the most critical pressure...set it optimally and the pressure may not need to go as high or will sort of stabilize a little. You might need 7 cm minimum but I doubt it. I would try 6 cm minimum first.
Leave the maximum wherever it is at. The machine won't go up unless it senses the need.

Great start! You should be really proud!

We have pretty similar basic numbers on the sleep test, and I always thought it was my children making me tired as well. They still do xPap or not!

In any case, you are in great hands with the guys here.

Do you have the ramp feature enabled? I ask because it looks like your pressure didn't change in response to the group of events at the beginning of the night. The more experienced here can comment.

If this is the case and you aren't yet comfortable modifing your setttings, disabling the ramp will at least let your machine move off 5cm if you fall asleep quickly. It's not the same as starting with a higher pressure, but at least you'll get there quickly if you have a similar group of events in the beginning.

Wishing you continued success.

Best,

Mike

So, I'm starting to feel a bit better and have a little more energy. I'm only taking a nap every now and then instead of every day. I'm almost off my BP meds! I set the lowest pressure at 6cmH2O. I'm only having around 1 migraine a week now instead of every day with a day here and there without one. I'm trying to include a screenshot of last night's sleep data to see if there is anything else I should be doing to fine tune my therapy! I'm still waiting to hear back from my DME about getting my actual machine and all the trappings that will come with it.

Thanks for all the great info you have here and all the help you give us newbies!!
