If the machine is under a Medicare capped rental--you don't want to be easy to find!
Or even hard--the gov. Trackers are RELENTLESS! And very skilled.

Re: how to ses,ll my almost new Restmed S9 system
In case it's not obvious enough, the point people are trying to make here is that the machine has be yours before you can sell it. As in, you paid cash money for it. If you got it through insurance, those machines are often on a rent-to-own kind of basis and a nearly new one is hardly likely to be paid off yet.
So, assuming it is your machine and you have the right to sell it, you can get an idea of reasonable prices by looking at secondwindcpap.com. They sell used cpap machines WITH a warranty. And no one here would pay as much or more to a private party than they could get it for from secondwind. The prices you hear from the medical equipment folks and that you see on craigslist are based on the inflated prices insurance companies pay. Knowledgeable cpap users like the ones here would never pay those "list" prices. If you can't do better than secondwind, no one is likely to be interested. I'm sure secondwind would be happy to buy your machine, but I'm willing to bet you wouldn't like what they would be willing to buy. They provide extra services and a warranty so there has to be some money in it for them.
You can see what a good non-list, non-insurance price for brand new machines is at our host's website: https://www.cpap.com.

Your Resmed S9 will have a model (CPAP, Elite, Autoset) and you need to be specific about what it is in order to sell it. It is worth less than you probably think, especially if you or anyone in your household smokes. We'd rather help you learn to use it comfortably than buy your machine, even for a bargain price. You will probably say you don't need the machine anymore, and we won't believe you.Lasvegas wrote:How do i sell my almost new Restmed S9 without getting in trouble. Thank you.
