A lot of people in the vintage audio equipment hobby use this stuff for old/corroded contacts, great product IMO. Can be found at Radio Shack, Amazon and other online sites.

I would be returning it to whomever I got it from...there's a 2 year warranty.
If a new hose doesn't fix the issue then it's something else and it needs to go to the cpap machine hospital.
Usually ResMed just swaps and gives you a new machine.

Just to add another data point - I received the SX556-0204 humidifier update over the air about a month ago, and I've not experienced the 'replace your tubing' error since. I've only had one ClimateLine hose the entire time.

Just a note...while the AirSense models seemed to have this error problem with the ClimateLine hose and it seems to have been fixed with the upgrade in firmware it wasn't common for the S9 machines to have this problem and since turning the machine off and rebooting things didn't fix the issue and a new hose didn't fix the issue...for S9 machines that are still under warranty I would be taking both the blower and humidifier back to where I got it.
I don't know if it's the humidifier, the connection to the humidifier or something in the blower that is the problem but it isn't something that was known to be a common problem like the AirSense model issues.
