According to his thread about his doctor's appointment, the doc thinks he's got a very high probability of having OSA and Enchanter has a sleep test scheduled for tommorrow (Saturday) night. But Enchanter is not yet using a CPAP.

And that does NOT sound like our old "friend" sickwithapnea, who refused the idea of going to a doc in the first place and who kept posting about how his various PAP machines were making him feel worse than he did before being diagnosed.

So no, I don't think Enchanter is the same person as sickwithapnea. And I say that as someone who has had multiple negative encounters with sickwithapnea on multiple boards.

Lol, I don't know who that is.

this is not to say that your physical symptoms are of no consequence, but that they are probably of less importance than you believe them to be. Shame on your doctor if his careless comment is causing you distress.

No, they are as important as I think they are or make them. So that's a very general statement. I care about them and I care about my physical health. My doctor didn't say anything that caused me more distress. Keep in mind, I WANT to know what could be wrong. I would never refuse to wear a mask if I knew it could help me.

Trust me...you aren't missing a thing except frustration and headaches and aggravation.
I didn't think you were him either. His writing style is fairly distinct and never really changed despite his various aliases that he tried to fool us with.

Sickwithapnea was a very troubled person.
Many of us have once been where you are now, but have lived through it, and gotten beyond that.
Many of those memories have faded with time and good sleep. Trust us, it will get better.
Just hang in there.

Count your blessings that you don't know who sickwithapnea is. As chunkyfrog puts is, sickwithapnea is a very troubled person who simply would not listen to reason when told multiple times by multiple people that his problems were serious enough that he needed to see a doctor.

I think my memory (and brain in general) is foggy. I just remembered him as being obsessed with health issues. I was thinking out loud here.

Yea that sounds like me because I didn't want to see a doctor for a while. It's like a phobia. But I came to terms that I need help and if it's there, don't waste an opportunity.
