Hello,
Please message me if you are interested in buying a new Dreamstation Bipap machine.
Received in September. Never opened. I went back to CPAP so no longer need this.

Re: Help with CPAP-Sleepyhead data
I am able to open the data in Sleephead but cannot figure out why CPAP isn't working for me, so I was asking for help with problem solving. I can post screenshots, I'm just not sure what to post. I had written about this in the past, and I remember being told it's better to copy the SD card into a d...

Re: Questions :)
Hi Julie, If your insurance covers it, I agree with others to get a sleep study. I have POTS too as well as low blood pressure. I have some other seemingly autonomic nervous system problems that come and go. Memory problems and feeling horrible in the morning-it feels like a bad hangover every day. ...

Re: Help with CPAP-Sleepyhead data
I was just reading this article, and thought, wow, my nasal passages are blocked, maybe that is why I don't fall into deep sleep (as the article states). I have low blood pressure, too. I thought I breathed through my mouth to bypass this problem; the article doesn't mention anythign about that. Wou...

Sleep architecture and depression, anti-depressants
Posting some links to articles about sleep architecture, depression, and medications. These factors can affect your sleep study results and also increase or decrease apneas. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3181772/ https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3119746/ https://www.ncbi.n...

Re: A psychiatrist thinks an OSA patient has also hypochondria
Hi, I'm not a doctor but read a lot about this stuff in my own quest to get refreshing sleep. You might want to ditch the antipsychotics, but stay on the trazadone, and try lamictal or lithium. Antipsychotics can change your REM sleep and make your apneas worse. When doctors say medications will hel...

Re: Cpap not doing it's job? My saga
I'm sorry to hear this. The same thing happened to me. The insurance trial machine worked great-I started feeling much better and refreshed in the morning. When they switched out the trial machine with the one I had to purchase, same model and mask, but it never worked for me again. I've been strugg...

Help with CPAP-Sleepyhead data
Hi, Is anyone willing to take a look at the Sleepyhead data from my SD card and tell me if there is anything I can do to make this CPAP therapy actually effective? I will send you a drop box link if you are willing to take a look. I've been having problems with this treatment for a really long time....

Re: Request for analysts to look at SleepyHead data
I can't figure out how to post an image. I don't have a URL and have no ability to upload an attachment. The axes are confusing since there are no real labels. There is one chart "total time in apnea". How do I interpret this? For example, 00:07:26. Does that mean my apnea event spanned over 7 minut...

Request for analysts to look at SleepyHead data
Hi, thanks to everyone's persistent advice, I got the sleepy head software and uploaded my CPAP data. I feel very fortunate that this software is available to us at no cost. I need help figuring everything out. I will read as much as possible, but I think I might need some guidance first as it's ove...

Re: Pulmonary vs. neurology sleep specialist
Anyway, it wouldn't hurt to go back and review studies looking for alpha. It's presence (or absence) might support your (a?) position. Ok, I have to get the full studies. I only have one of the summaries. Thanks Just because a doctor is a neurologist won't necessarily make them more helpful to your...
