AHI still not on track

Post by Danlo67 » Mon Jan 01, 2018 6:29 pm

Hi all. I'm posting my dreammapper results for the last 2 nights. I don't have SleepyHead data yet.
I'm set on minimum 11.5 cm H20 and still have 5 and 6 AHI. Do I need to minimum up again? ImageImage

Pressure Setting at 9-20 cm H20. currently. Still working on getting AHI below 5

My 90% pressure is showing a range from 13.2 - 13.9 over the 6 nights. Should I try 13 minimum?

Why do you think you need to try 13minimum?

Without looking at sleepyhead data, guessing that more pressure is needed is a reasonable guess. But it is just a guess.

Only asking because between 13 - 14 is the 90⅝ level. I figure that's about where there pressure has been sitting for last 6 nights?

The definition of 90% pressures is NOT where the machine was at for 90% of the night.

The definition of 90% numbers is....at OR BELOW for 90% of the night. That "or below" part of the definition is kinda important.

What is the overall average or median average pressure?....you would need to open up SleepyHead to see that number.

I haven't checked SleepyHead yet but I've got a sneaking suspicion the median it will give me will be the same as my minimum is now at (11.5 cm) . What do I do then? Since AHI is still not on track and I'm still not feeling as I should?

Increase the minimum again.

It's a process and takes some time because we don't sleep the same each night.
You keep increasing until you get the AHI where you are want it or close to it.

If you want to make a bigger jump in minimum that is fine...just do it for the right reason and not the wrong reason.
