That's a good article. I was just thinking the other day about how and why it's so hard for us to even get copies of our test results. I'm a researcher by nature and I have pressed doctors for testing in the past that resulted in them finding two serious medical conditions that I had.

Impressive article.
I've been compiling my own medical records lately myself from years past, trying to piece together how I got to where I am now. It's interesting how many "small" things were suggested for later possible follow up a 2-5 years ago, have never been followed up on, so I totally get where the article is coming from. Of course, I'm faced with a tough choice now -- stay with the hospital and physicians where most of my records are (but balls seem to have been dropped) and pay a premium due to out of network on my insurance this year, or find a new hospital and all new physicians (ACK! I'm afraid of change!!).

WildMtnHoney, it's my experience that ball dropping is not unusual. Unless you know for a fact you'd be switching to a place with a good reputation, I'm afraid you might risk just more of the same.
