Thanks so much for that explanation. I deleted all my old images like you suggested!

Give away of Fisher & Pykel Oracle masks and supplies [GONE]
Hey folks. After 10 years of using this mask, I have changed to a different solution. I have 6 brand new Oracle mouth masks and assorted silicone gaskets and filters to give away. I know there are not many Oracle users, but some just love it as I did. I only ask you cover postage for me, otherwise t...

Re: ASV vs. ASV Auto? ResMed Aircurve 10
Thanks Pugsy. Yes, this feature is complex. Thank you for those thoughts. I started exploring my machine because I am have troubles with the machine (seen via OSCAR data) starting to serially up the pressure so that it eventually wakes me up and I have to lean over and press the off button to reset ...

ASV vs. ASV Auto? ResMed Aircurve 10
I notice that my ASV machine has a setting for ASV Auto (where it is set now) and just plain ASV.
Does anyone know what the difference is in what the machine is doing on each of these settings?
Why would one choose one over the other?
Thanks

Re: Request advice on AirCurve 10 Humidity change
Well I solved the problem (with your help of course). My wife made me a "cozy" for this crazy long unheated tube out of some fleece fabric and the rain-out was banished! I kept the temp at 86 (highest), but did reduce the humidity level from 8 to 6. There was a bit of moisture in the mask but no slo...

Re: Request advice on AirCurve 10 Humidity change
Ah Pugsy to the rescue. I now see what you mean. The new Evora Full mask is unusual in that it has a VERY long unheated tube that then connects to the heated tube. Perhaps then the hot wet air is cooling along this particularly long tube on this mask and then condensing in the mask before getting in...

Request advice on AirCurve 10 Humidity change
With my AirCurve 10 ASV and my usual F&P Oracle mouth mask, it was so drying that I would set humidity at 8 and tube temp at 86 (the highest settings) and still be bone-dry in the morning. With a new F&P Evora Full Mask, I noticed a wet pillow, wet head strap, and occasionally dripping on my face wh...

F&P Vitera FFM - will it work on a thin face?
Thinking of changing to this specific mask from reviews I have viewed. I am a mouth breather and side sleeper. My concern is whether it will fit a very thin face without leaks. Thoughts?
I have attached a picture of my face to see how thin it is.
Thanks for any thoughts.

Re: Need advice for Full Face mask for 8 yr. Oracle mouth mask user
I know a post like this is so very hard to answer, but I need some help in how to think about FFMs and start trying some. I recommend some of the newer, smaller-footprint FFMs with the hose on top. Examples: ResMed AirFit F30i Full Face CPAP Mask - https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed-airfit-f30...

Need advice for Full Face mask for 8 yr. Oracle mouth mask user
Hello folks, I have used the Oracle mouth mask for 8 years now with pretty good results and love its simplicity. BUT as the years have gone on, the necessary nose plugs to prevent nose leaking have slowly been expanding/stretching my nostrils causing leaks. I have switched up to very large commercia...

Re: Can you help me understand filters for ResMed Aircurve ASV?
All very helpful. My old Respironics recalled ASV machine used very robust flat, probably hypoallergenic filters + a foam large particle filter. These filters for the ResMed look paltry by comparison. Since my old Respironics filters used to be quite dirty each month (blackish), I have to assume the...

Can you help me understand filters for ResMed Aircurve ASV?
Greetings. I am having a bit of trouble getting the correct replacement filters for my ResMed AirCurve ASV machine. I was initially issued CPAPhero brand filters which were labelled "Standard filters fit the ResMed AirSense, AirCurve, AirStart, and S9 Series Machines" They are the typical very thin ...

ResMed AirFit F30 available free + postage [GONE]
20211208_104630.jpg I have a ResMed AirFit F30 with both large and small masks and head gear with some other bits that I would like to give away to anyone who can use it for the cost of postage only. Here is the story. I am a 7 year user of the Oracle mouth mask and ASV, but recently have been havi...

Re: Can you help me solve a nasal plug problem?
Chukyfrog, what an interesting idea. Never heard of that. Headed for Google now. You always have great ideas. I just tried a hybrid mask at the recommendation of my DME, but it was leak city around the nose. I have a very thin face. A liner at first seemed to solve the problem and then a second try ...
