So spring is here and this is my first camping season on cpap. We camp in tents so no RV power source, etc. I'm all set with my battery system, but my question is can I take my s9 autoset camping with me or will the dampness in some way effect it? I'm debating about investing in a transcend or z1 unit, but if I can take my s9 I'll just as soon do that. I'm talking about just the blower unit, no humidifier, no heated hose, etc.
I'm in western ny, so cool damp nights by the way.

Re: S9 autoset and camping
I take my machine with me on river rafting trips all the time. Never had a problem. I use mine in a tent next to rivers and lakes with no issues. I protect it in a Pelican case while it's packed on the boat. In the tent, I open the Pelican case and turn it so the lid is on the floor of the tent with the box upright. I set the machine on the lid. I'm sure it would be fine on the tent floor, but setting it on the lid may keep it a bit cleaner. Most of the damage to the cpap machine will happen while transporting it, not really while using it in a tent in my experience.
