I have a spot under each nostril where the pillows currently put the most pressure that is now raised and tender. The night that I titrated, I woke with a biggish red spot on the bridge of my nose, that was tender. Over the course of the day, it began to swell, until it looked like a pimple with the diameter of a dime. A few days later, it did indeed develop several small white spots (like 10+) that oozed, then it crusted over, I scratched it off in my sleep, and it took another full week to heal. So I am very very scared of something similar happening under my nose!
Does this sound like pressure sores? Is my headgear too tight? Of course mine doesn't really adjust, so how would I fix that - should the straps be closer or wider? Higher or lower on my head?
I just woke from a nap, and as I was falling asleep, I was thinking that maybe the hose should be directed in a different way - right now it sorta just hangs down and to the side, but in most pics I see, people have them going up over their heads - would that help at all?
Are these pressure sores? something else?

Re: Are these pressure sores? something else?
So after doing some googling - it seems this may be a silicone reaction. So the nice extra-small pillows are now soaking in some nice warm soapy water.

Re: Are these pressure sores? something else?
I get sores from pillows so when i feel one coming on i trade off for a nasal mask for a night or two and use polysporin to heal the sore. I also use lansinoh while wearing pillows so sores are never that bad.
